October approaches and with it the fall classic better known as the World Series. I'm not sure what percentage of our customers are baseball fans, but it is a good analogy. By this time in the season only the teams with the best and healthiest rosterss are fighting to win it all. You can't win if you don't have a good pitching staff or people who can get on base. If the team is not managed correctly you also won't win. If you don't win, your attendence goes down(unless you play in Wrigley Field).
Schmartboard must continually add to our product line and develop products that support different types of users or our attendence goes down also. (We don't play in Wrigley)
Over the past couple of years we have used our core "EZ" technology to make it easier for people to develop circuits using the popular embedded platforms currently being used by many "fans" out there.
Our first offering was Arduino. We release a Arduino Uno and Mega through hole prototyping shield. We then offered kits that were bundled with SMT to DIP adapters so that users could add surface mount components to their circuit design.
The second family released was Raspberry Pi. We released a Raspberry Pi Through Hole Prototyping Add-on board. Again we were able to create various "kits" that allowed users to utilize surface mount components when creating an add-on circuit.
This month we released our BeagleBone Through Hole Prototyping Cape. Like with the Arduino and Raspberry Pi, bundles are available that make it possible to design your Cape circuit with Surface Mount Components.
We know that not all of our customers use each of the platforms above...but it takes multiple component types to create a winning product roster. We will continue to support the fans of Schmartboard and always like to here your indeas for new products. You can always drop us a line at info@schmartboard.com
As we push to win the electronics World Series, thank you for your ongoing support of what we do.
