​ Our Grand Opening is Coming Together

As previously mentioned we are having a grand opening celebration on October 12th from 12-3 at our new location at 37423 Fremont Blvd in Fremont CA.

The way it will work, is that you will come in and register. Once registered, you will get a bag of goodies. Companys such as Whole Foods, Jameco Electronics, Nuts and Volts and Servo Magazines, Parallax, Big O Tires, and Color Me Mine have donated tsotchkis or coupons.

We will have two Oakland Raiderette Cheerleaders here to help us celebrate. Chanel Nichols and Ashley Brown will sign signatures and pose for photograghs. We will announce at the show where to retrieve your photo online.

We will also have a station where you can hand solder a chip using our "EZ" technology. The people manning this area will be students from our local High School, American High School. You will be able to solder a chip onto a keychain and take it home with you. We will also photograph you at this station and have photo retreval information available.

We will also have snacks available throughout the day and have invited in an awesome food truck, The Link Squad.

We will have prizes as well. You will not have to be present to win, but will have to come back to pick them up if you aren't present. Some of the prizes are a couple Parallax Propeller Activity Bots, Gift certificates for Color Me Mine, Soldering Irons from Weller, Magazine Subsriptions for Nuts and Volts and Servo Magazines, Movie Passes from Tri City Volunteers and or course Schmartboards.

We still have a few loose ends to resolve, people, companies and organizations to get involved but it'll be a fun event.
